Muscle-Building Protein Shake with Nuts to Make You Stronger

If you want to build some serious muscle you’d better be ready to eat for it. I previously wrote about why you should steer clear from mass gainers and how my bulking diet look like.

You see, you have to eat for purpose. Not for pleasure. You have to eat the same foods over and over again. You have to throw in protein shakes, before, after your workout.

I am a big fan of nuts/dried fruits when it comes to what they have to offer. They are packed with best of muscle building nutrients.

All the squats and bench presses in the world would fail to add mass to your frame unless you are consuming muscle building calories from real foods.

Nuts should be in your arsenal of tools if you are trying to pack on some mass.

Muscle mix protein shake for muscle growth in between the meals


  • Whey Protein Isolate – 1 scoop (chocolate)
  • Casein Protein – 1 scoop (chocolate/vanilla)
  • 5 Pistachios
  • 5 Cashew Nuts
  • 5 Walnuts
  • 5 Almonds
  • 5 Peanuts
  • 5-10 Black Raisins
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • Ice cubes


  1. Walnuts and almonds should be soaked overnight for 10-12 hours. Cashew nut and pistachios for 1-2 hours.
  2. Chop all the nuts. I use a manual food chopper. If you use the electric one you might end up with powdery nuts or a paste.

  3. Add the nuts, protein powder, milk and ice cubes to the shaker.
  4. Shake well; et voilà.

Eat more nuts and get those gains!
