As my long-term readers know, I wouldn’t recommend a product unless I actually personally use/used it myself. Today, I’m bringing you another product review from the Schiek brand (you can see my Schiek Wrist Wraps review here).

As I said in that article: I don’t view training accessories as fashion items. Only the most essential equipment makes it into my gym bag.

I’m a fan and advocate of lifting heavy – that’s clear already.

So when I see an item that proclaims to help me lift more weight, I take them into strong consideration.

Schiek’s Wrist Straps do exactly that – they allow you to lift heavier on pull/back day. All the pull movements like deadlifts, heavy pull-downs, pullups, heavy rows exhausts your grip as the weight increases along with the reps.

As a bodybuilder you need more work get done.

You ought to go heavier and do more reps. The worst thing is not being able to lift heavier on dumbbell rows because you exhausted your grip doing deadlifts, pull-downs and shrugs.
